It is having the largest size leaf compared to other green teas and it gives a delicate orchid fragrance with a mellow taste. Processing of Taiping Houkui tea is very complex compared to other tea processing methods.  Taping Kuihong tea is produced using the second harvest of Taiping Houkui tea leaf and it is a black tea which is affordable than Taiping Houkui tea.
